DeSantis is like a Marvel-character. As long as he had the Florida state house Republicans pushing the agenda...things got done (in a hurry). Without their ‘power’....DeSantis is just a mortal (normal) character.
So true. Supporters think that it will be a walk in the park and will be able to accomplish Florida like things for the entire country. He won’t have the friendly state house etc behind him. Aka swamp. They will beat him up and spit him out. Remember when he took the governorship he had 24 continuous years of prior Republican and friendly leadership prior to his takeover. I just don’t think he has the grit to handle that mess. Come back and be the governor he was elected to be and there may be a chance in the future for him . Hope he doesn’t blow it.
