That is how it should be, but this takes personal time and effort. So it will not happen.
First make sure your local credit union does not sell off mortgages or get them securitized. If they do they are no better than big banks.
I banked with them a LONG time ago, and quickly realized how evil they were.
It's not as easy for an org (or a person for that matter) to simply change banks all at once without any planning. I think these scumbags should be liable for a LOT of damages when they pull crap like this.
