Can’t blame Georgia (the soccer version, not the Kirby version) for wanting to join NATO after Russia attacked them. But NATO shouldn’t want them. Georgia brings no military benefit to the existing NATO members. In other words, Georgia wouldn’t increase our security it would decrease it.
I’m sure Neocons think Georgia brings a strategic advantage, in that NATO can move its weapons that much closer to the Russian border.
