Perot simply gave himself a ‘gift’ in revenge to George Bush. He had zero interest in becoming President. He just wanted Bush to lose two or three million votes. All goes back to his employees held in a Iranian jail and Bush wasn’t going to provide CIA help.
And a major fact about Perot— his business holdings were largely in Texas— at an aviation service corridor at a major airport. Bush was governor and denied him all kinds of latitude on regulations and fees for the facilities, that Perot wanted waived... just for him. All others with similar properties had to pay the freight and, Bushes did not cut him any gimmee deal. Perot was a small banty rooster type of “tough guy” with mil-industrial money making as his chief source.
He stated he was running 3rd party to “energize the democrat party”... and he siphoned votes from GHWB such that we got Billy Cokenose Clinton and his hag wife and all of their crap. Energized. What a fraud Perot was.
His principal business was Electronic Data Systems (connected to the precursor of Dominion) and before that a freaking salesman for IBM! Had his a@@ kicked a few times. The Iranian hostage employees he got out could not have been helped by see eye ehhhh— not in Iran of those days after Jimmah Cahtah. Perot was a Texas clown in a clown show.
