Putin, who isn’t exactly a candidate for sainthood, has created a terrific society in Russia, lots of culture, beautiful new skyscrapers, wonderful stores with beautiful people shopping there . They have an actual culture. I ave an online friend, Brit who works in Moscow, sends photos and reports now and then.

Once you leave Moscow or St Pete’s, you find yourself in, at best, a 3rd world s... hole
