You obviously don’t know what independent voters are, you think it means they are dispassionate fence-sitters.

Independents range from being too far left to be Democrats to too right-wing to register as Republicans, people who leave their party to register as Independent generally feel more passionate about their politics than the party they left, or in my case, the GOP was too liberal for me to want to call myself a republican from the first day I registered.

You are mistaken if you think I "obviously don't know what independent voters" because I obviously do.

I myself was one up to about a year ago when I was forced to declare for a specific reason.

If you read my post carefully, you would see that I specifically qualified my statement with:

"...I have zero respect for independent voters, the kind who couldn’t decide to vote for Trump or Clinton in 2016..."

I stand by that statement. This does not at all encompass people who are independent for other reasons, which I have no problem at all with.
