You must be just looking at Russian govt Telegram channels. There are plenty of reports direct from participants showing Russian atrocities against Ukrainians, and Russian soldiers suffering defeats.

In fact you can even read posts from Russians admitting defeats in places where the Russian government says everything is fine.
