Sage Steele has broken her silence about what she says is "hypocrisy" at ESPN.
Steele, now a former ESPN employee, was a guest on Megyn Kelly's YouTube show Thursday, just days after leaving the network.
Steele provided the "life update" on X, formerly Twitter, saying her lawsuit against the company was settled, and she decided to leave so she can "exercise my first amendment rights more freely." >snip<
"All I ever wanted was consistency," Steele told Kelly. "And if we are allowing my peers to go on social media, much less on our own airwaves, saying things that have nothing to do with sports, that are political … then I should be allowed on my personal time to give my opinion on my experiences personally, without telling others what to do or how to feel being biracial or being forced to take a vaccine.
Steele reflected on the time she felt forced to apologize after another incident with ESPN brass.
"I did not want to apologize. I fought. I fought, and I begged and I screamed. And I was told that if I want to keep my job, I have to apologize. And I need my job," she said. "And they knew that."

I watched much of Megyn Kelly’s podcast with Sage Steele, she doesn’t consider herself to be black, she always refers to herself as mixed race.
She has a white mother and black father, the father was a career military officer who attended West Point, he was the first black football player at Army.
It was gut wrenching to hear her talking about taking the vaccine, she was going thru a divorce and according to her really needed the job to support her 3 children, at ESPN it was either take the vaccine or lose your job, she started crying on the podcast listening to her talk about that decision.
“take the vaccine or lose your job”
That is what the leftists call “voluntary consent”.
Pure evil.
I’m sure she’ll be ok. She’s got money. She’s hot. She should check out and be an advocate for all she stands for. Going on Megan Kelly means she’s only into hit and run.
I’m on her side. She’s right. I decided to stand up for her when I read she pissed the little boys at ESPN off when she said some things about their boy, Obama that they didn’t like. Sage Steele is the perfect name for this woman.
She really needs to run for political office. Our side desperately needs more people like her that have their head screwed on straight not “republicans” camping out on the far left’s plantation.
I took a 40% paycut, moved my family and struggled, but it was always better than taking the vax.
Trump is still pro vax, or he was in Iowa.. only one of my 3 children were able to avoid it. One military and one who is a go with the flow kinda person. Even aas grown woman. It is sad to think about that.
I never took the vax. I was nervous my company, a far LW woke insurance company- Prudential- would require it, but they never did
I used to be a huge sports fan growing up. But now I'm lukewarm. I still like football. But I've given up on some sports like basketball, especially the NBA when they had their bud light moment due to them embracing the woke ideology.

She should start a podcast like Jason Witlock did, that does sports, but more than sports.
