I liked Hannity a long, long time ago, but he couldn’t hold a candle next to Rush.

Someone like Rush only comes around once a century or so. He was not perfect by any means, but had an amazing fusion of talent and smarts. He is definitely missed. I actually think seeing what was happening to Trump in 2020 hastened his demise.

To be, Hannity will always be a Rush-wannabe, with only a small fraction of his abilities. His annoying, Long Island accent does not help.

Rush told us “where the puck was going” all the time. He could take a new issue, tell you who the key players would be, and what actions they would take about it. He made it look easy. Almost obvious. I took it for granted.

The current crop mostly guesses about “where the puck is going” and then strut around on the rare occassions they get it right.

A few won’t shut up about whatever it was they were doing before a microphone was put it front of them.
