They actually released all their Azov prisoners shortly after removing them from Mariupol. I doubt they’ll get a second chance though. Their hatred for Russia runs deep at any rate and they are just as fanatical as their stepfather, the SS.
A lot of Russians were upset that they didn’t when they recaptured Mariupol.
The situation in Soledar was different with Wagner - they were given one chance to surrender and that was it.
