You don't have to register guns in Arizona, nor do you have to be registered to own a gun. Don't have to have a carry permit of any kind, either.

I remember about 30 years ago I went to a gun range north of Phoenix.
All of us were happily practicing hitting our targets, when some guy
on the the right end of the firing line made his presence known
by opening up with full auto. No mistaking that sound!
You *DO* however need to be registered to concealed carry. Or, at least last time I was there...
