The judge wasn't in on it. From DOJ's perspective, the point of the plea bargain was to exonerate Hunter Biden of all crimes committed until 2023, not just the two misdemeanors, but the judge rejected DOJ's offer. Now, Hunter can be prosecuted for Ukraine and China money laundering at a later date (after this administration).
