CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago police are looking for the people who reportedly stole from a luxury clothing store on Michigan Avenue.
Police said two suspects entered MCM, which is located in the 500-block of North Michigan, just before 2:30 p.m. Tuesday afternoon.
One of them took merchandise as the other threatened the security guard with a handgun, CPD said.
They then ran away together.
No one was in custody Wednesday, and area detectives are investigating.
The Mac cosmetics store, also located in the 500-block of North Michigan on the Magnificent Mile, was also robbed Saturday morning.

“They then ran away together.”
Police are looking for a dish and a spoon.
Michigan Avenue along the lakefront was just beautiful on a clear summer day, especially from the top of the towers. People of all races got along fine; there really wasn’t a hint of street crime in the Loop or along the waterfront. Now the elected mayor is a stooge of the teachers union and a borderline Marxist and you can see it in the desolation of downtown Chicago.
Michigan Ave. and its environs were safe and clean, people of all races socio-economic classes mingled without any problems at all, at a certain age ( Middle school ), kids who lived near there, went shopping or just walking around on their own and nobody worried about their safety or what they were up to!
Older kids, who went to Latin, walked there and back, went to North Beach, rode their bicycles in the park off LSD, alone and had fun. And as parents, we never thought about what harm would come to them.
NOW? That's all changed!
Before Michigan Ave. took off in a big way, everyone went down to the LOOP to shop at Field's and/or Carson, Pirie, Scott, went to restaurants, and the nearby theatre districts without a care in the world...even at night.NOT NOW!
Now the people I know are avoiding these places, younger families who lived in the great apartment buildings off Michigan Ave, have either sold their apartments and moved to the suburbs, or are trying to do that. I can tell you horror stories about what has happened on some of those elite side streets, that haven't made the news, but happened to people I know, but shan't go public, here, with them. But suffice it to say...things are worse than is being reported on.
Somebody stole something.
'Oh. OK Citizen, move along.'
The year was 1900.
What you posted is false, stupid, neither funny nor clever, and puerile!
Do you live in Chicago now?
Have you EVER lived in Chicago?
If yes, to either of those questions...what year/s did you do so and in what area?
And no, visiting Chicago once or a few times doesn't count, as far as you are concerned, since you posted such tripe!
I'm speaking from experience, posting FACTS; unlike you!
“Let them touch those things for once.”
I’ve been to Chicago. It was always a $#ithole. Just like Baltimore.
Your Home Page says that you are from North Carolina ( if you aren't lying ) and you are just lying through your teeth.
What year/s were YOU ever in Chicago?
Where, exactly ( area/s, street/s, place/s ) were you ever in, in Chicago and WHAT, exactly, IN GRAPHIC DETAIL, made it "a S#ithole"?
Come on...answer ALL of that, in detail; I double dog dare you!
I've been to the South Side 30 years ago. Didn't hang out though. Just drove through it.
OTOH...Baltimore has NOT even been mentioned in this topic/thread. So once again, you are just posting utter tripe.
What's next from you...Manhattan, London, and Paris have also "ALWAYS" been worthless, disgusting, horrid places, with no redeeming features? LOL
This thread is about Michigan Ave. and the environs surrounding that street, which you were NEVER even remotely near and NEVER have seen; not even from a car window!
On our many trips to Florida, we would stay over night in Fayetteville, N.C.! We probably say MORE of that place, and NOT just out of a car window, than YOU have EVER seen of Chicago!
Do those experiences, of mine, make me an "expert" on Fayetteville, or the entire state of North Carolina, which I have seen many times over ( far more times than your one stinking drive through of the South Side of Chicago! ), than YOU, who supposedly live in that state?
According your YOUR way of thinking, why HELL YES, it most assuredly does! But, in actual FACT, no it absolutely does NOT do any such thing.
Now go away and peddle your idiocies on some other thread.
Didn't go there but I've been to the Wrigley Field and the Museum of Science and Industry. So I did some touristy stuff. Chicago can be nice. But it's also a $#ithole.
You stated that you "ONLY DROVE THROUGH THE SOUTH SIDE OF CHICAGO 30 YEARS AGO", and now you claim that you've been to Wrigley Field and the Museum of Science and Industry;. the latter being ON THE SOUTH SIDE!
So which is it...you stupid liar; which statement/s are true and which are false?
And where did you stay, when you *gasp* ventured into the the dangerous wilds of the Wrigley area ( what year did you go there? )and the even MORE DANGEROUS area where the Museum of Science and Industry is located?
What's next on your inevitable list lies...that you once went to every store on Michigan Ave., ate lunch or dinner someplace situated on that street, and oh my...even know where the Latin School; of Chicago is situated and interviewed the kids and/or the mommies or nannies who were waiting for them at pickup time?LOL
Pull the other one; it has bells on it!
You just live in your own little bubble of delusion about everything; so sad for you, but a laugh riot for everyone who reads your bannal, innane, puerile comments.
Move your businesses to Mexican neighborhoods. Black fascists won’t bother you because black thugs will be shot, beaten and chased back to their ghettos. Don’t believe it? Watch:
