Blindly following Trump off an electoral cliff isn’t a formula for winning an election either. It’s like yall have developed a double standard in your brains. Supporting another candidate, other than Trump, because you like his stances, personality, work ethic, etc. is disloyal & a real problem for r our side in winning the general election. Meanwhile, yalls absolute support for only Trump, regardless of viability, effectiveness, and trash talking about any other candidate isn’t held to the same standard! I’ve voted for Trump twice, but I also realize that we need a broader movement than Donald Trump in order to succeed 🙄
In a weird way, you stated the very same thing I posted except I wasn’t emotional about it.
The party is split evenly, no republican will win the general.
If…….the Republican voters were united, we might have a chance but would still probably lose. Why? Because Independents outnumber both parties. Dems continue to alienate independents but they don’t switch to republican. Why? BECAUSE THEY STAND FOR NOTHING, AGREE ON NOTHING and have no interest in growing the party.
Meanwhile, we continue infighting and put zero pressure on anyone except Trump/DeSantis. They aren’t the problem, the party is the problem.
