Climate change nonsense !

It’s a wake up call that those in government are generally incompetent. And based on the governor’s call to obtain the land, corrupt.

She may be a physician, but math and physics were not her forte. But, it appears that those two subjects were also not strong points of a good many climate “scientists”.

“...while extreme heat kills another 5 million people annually. Over the next decade...”

Hysterical lie and an hysterical article.

Why the long face Vanessa? Is it caused by climate change or genetics?

She and ‘daddy’ are booking private jets to see the burned out island - and to check out buying land for their next mansions.

We need to wake up to the fact that crap happens. I will bet this is due to stupid leftist environmental management than anything else.

Exactly how was human-recycled carbon able to slow the north Pacific circulation and make Hurricane Dora create 65 mph winds on West Maui?

These wildfires, fanned by winds from Hurricane Dora after years of drought, have undoubtedly been made worse by climate change.

He is the question. I will also supply a possible answer.

Why do they have grass fires?
That is because Dole and other Agricompanies were chased out of Hawaii by environmentalists. It was no longer profitable to grow sugar cane and pineapples there. This was due to a combination of labor costs in comparison to other countries and environmental restrictions.

When you grow a crop like sugar cane they typically want to eliminate weed/grass species from growing in the same fields. This requires the use of pesticides like Roundup.

These fields also required large amounts of water to sustain growth of these crops. The main difference today is that these fields are now full of grass that is not irrigated. So, the grass now dries out. In the past the fields would not dry out because they were irrigated.

The people of Hawaii did not want these crops grown in their islands anymore. They supported the Dem politicians that pushed them out of business. Now, economic conditions allowing the import of sugar and pineapples from foreign countries also had a impact on the exodus from these crop production. Exchange rates vs foreign currencies also has an impact. However, the people who wanted to drive Dole and other companies out of business in Hawaii have just as much to blame for these fires.

I am NOT disagreeing with you. However, do you have any proof to support the claim of arson?

I have watched at least 50 YouTube videos regarding this fire in the last week. There are several now that are available filmed by average residents of Lahaina currently on YouTube.
Several from last Tuesday afternoon/evening. People literally walking around Lahaina town with power lines down all over the place and the wind is blowing gusts of 60 mph or more.

Another video I watched last night was filmed by a young guy on a moored sailboat about a half mile off shore of Lahaina harbor. It was filmed over several hours from the middle of the afternoon until well into the night.

The fire started up the hill across the main highway from town. Power was off in Lahaina. I can see this because bare electrical lines are laying on the streets and people are casually stepping over them(they were not charged).

FYI, everything I have stated I have learned by watching YouTube videos over the last week. NOT by listening to the MSM or Fox, or even most of the Podcasts on Rumble. Which tend to spread click bait type rumors.

I have gained this information by watching videos posted by Hawaiian citizens that were on the ground in and around Lahaina. First hand witnesses. These are your real sources for news today.

FYI, the Governor was the one who ADMITTED the fact that not having sugar cane being grown was a major contribution to the fire.

On Redacted this morning they showed a map of potential developments of those same former sugar can fields right on the northeast side of Lahaina. Basically a huge sub division across the highway stretching up the hillside on hundreds of new homes.
