Not arguing with your statement about affirmative action, but the Fulton Co. District Attorney was voted into office by the voters of Fulton County.

Same thing happened in MO. The voters of St Louis happily elected and reelected Kim Gardner. It took years for the state Attorney General to pile up enough evidence of her long-term malfeasance in office to force her to resign. Of course she is not in jail.

I have little doubt that if she ran for the office again, she’d be elected again. It is sad and a bit frightening to realize that there are large sections of our nation that no longer share the same values, even extending to the idea of what is right and what is wrong.
