You might find this interesting. I’m a member of newspapers.com which allows a person to read Anglo-American propaganda/information as far back as the early 1700’s.
Currently I’m reading about the Panic of 1837, as told by a character named James Gordon Bennett Sr who is the editor of the New York Herald.
In his NYC newspaper he states one corporation runs New York City and its business and politics, it has a monopoly of power.
Later on his front page, week after week, he lists every major bank and chairman in NYC and says this is the “Government of United States.”
Sometimes political & financial change is an illusion and a fairy tail.
