What Is the Biblical Definition of Marriage?
https://www.christianity.com/wiki/christian-life/what-is-the-biblical-definition-of-marriage.html
Robert Hampshire
Quote: "Think about it: Two far-from-perfect people are covenanting their life together based on no matter what they have done in the past, no matter what happens in the future, in sickness and health, and for better or worse until they die. What a beautiful picture of Jesus Christ (the groom) and his never-ending love for the Church (the bride)."
And is thus a criminal action of an act called "divorce" under the guise of so called "legal state"
This Acting removal of “Until Death Do Us Part” has destroyed marriage and is a mark of paganism.
“To kill, steal, and destroy”
And is a money changer RICO crime operation.
“Money is the Root of all evil”
Bible
“Money is the Root of all evil”
Incorrect. The Bible does not call money evil
1 Timothy 6:10
For the LOVE OF money is a root of all kinds of evils. It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs.
Yep, that’s what I actually meant
Very good correction: Thanks.
The Bible says bigamy is ok. Of course society went and said screw God and made their own laws. Of course, for me, one wife is enough. But God I’m sure is pissed off.
and a divorce is the only contract a woman can willfully break and be handsomely rewarded for doing it.
The Bible does not say bigamy is ok.
It records instances of it. I puts in a couple of protections for extra wives. But it neither prescribes nor condones it. Just acknowledges it.
Actually, many stories in Scripture serve as cautionary tales about the serious problems that arise from it.
Even Adam had two wives. Lillian was his first wife and even was his second wife. They all lived in harmony. Probably explains how the world was able to happen since even only had three sons. Cain, Abel and Seth.
That is not scripture. There is no Lilith in the Bible.
They had many more children after Cain, Abel and Seth. Obviously these men needed wives.
