I recall their motto was, "Don't be evil." However, I now suspect they were evil even back then - what better way to hide than by posturing, moralizing, while admonishing others not to be evil? There was a creepy Google barge in SFO bay which was heavily secured and about which Google would not answer questions. A high security barge they couldn't explain? Hmmmm....
I’m talking back in the early 90s when it was a little known search engine.
They pimped their free speech/honest results back then.
I made good pocket money with SEO for website before they “changed the algorithms” to favor pay for play hits.
Couldn’t afford to buy “top hits “ so his site, which literally dominated the first 5 or 6 pages of keyword results fell into the Google oubliette while big companies paid thousands for the same positions.
I have almost $100 in my Google account I’ll never see now.
$100 was the payout point and it m just shy of that.
I blew off Google a long time ago.
Pity as $100 would be a really necessary small fortune for me these days.

1. Keep old almanacs, dictionaries, encyclopedias, history and other BOOKS.
Digital information is convenient but can be easily edited and “erased” or “lost”.
All the classics, philosophy, sciences and math books as well as old medical books with common pathology, physiology and biochemical pathways outlined are good to keep as well.
Whomever controls the past and information controls the future. Schools have been absolutely destroyed as an educational facility and are mere indoctrination centers for the proles and slaves that the elites need to control.
I found my old high school trigonometry book and took out a folded weekly test I had. My wife laughed and even though she’s 5 years younger than me said that her high school didn’t even offer that. NOT GEOMETRY..... TRIGONOMETRY.
The class before mine was the last to offer Latin as a mandatory course for graduation. I KNOW that nobody uses it but it is a way to discipline the mind.... not teaching you what to think but HOW to think. Big Difference.
