A Michelle Obama bid would have destroyed whoever was the GOP’s nominee - even Donald Trump.
Michelle Obama’s Possible Presidential Run? – Michelle Obama is a former first lady and very popular.
She would be a dynamite presidential candidate for the Democratic Party going into the 2024 Presidential Election.
Rumors have abounded for the last two years that the former first lady was considering a run.
In fact, I and others were convinced that she would have announced as we approach the 2024 Democratic Party Primary.
She would be an unstoppable political force—especially against Donald Trump’s immovable political object.
But Michelle Obama wants everyone to know (including Oprah) that she’ll “never, ever run for president.”
Of course, that’s what they all say.
Why Not Michelle Obama? Until a couple of months ago, even President Joe Biden was coy about his reelection run. Now that the forty-sixth president has announced his intentions to run for reelection—with Kamala Harris again as his vice-president—there’s little opportunity for Michelle Obama to run.
Yes, she’s infinitely more popular than any politician presently running or thinking about running for president in 2024.
That’s not enough, though. There are inter-party dynamics that Michelle Obama would have to contemplate.
After all, the only people thus far challenging the sclerotic Biden reelection bid are two outliers in the Democratic Party—Marianne Williamson, who believes in the healing power of crystals and Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., who is notoriously anti-vaccine (and, therefore, textbook unelectable in the vaccine-loving Democratic Party).

Right now with the system set up as it is the ‘rats could run and win with a woodchuck.
It would help immensely if there were an opposition party that wanted to win.
Kamala without the wit, grace, charm or political experience.
This is the play. This has always been the play. 2020 was too soon for big Mike. Not enough credibility. Biden was a placeholder. Now big Mike (really just anothe figurehead) is going to come in and return us to the gloriouis days of Obama when government weaponization against it’s enemies started and race was once again used to divide people.

I doubt Michelle would be as popular as they imagine. Also, no matter which way you slice it, running for POTUS is a hard grueling job (and I don’t think she could get away with pulling a Hillary or a Biden). I don’t think that is her thing.

Nope. Michelle will not run for anything. We are more apt to see Oprah Run. Look to see an old White Woman who can speak well and vote the right way.
Well, why not? As the old saying goes, America is a place in which *anybody* can grow up to be president. I am hoping that Laura Bush runs. She has the same qualifications.
‘Big Mike’-—The Whole Package!
I have been talking to folks. I think enough people now that Big Mike is a dude and that Obama is not who he said he was. Trump knows in my estimation so… I don’t they can pull it off.
