I want an immigration moratorium except for spouses and children of American citizens.

Your restriction to 2,000 to 3,000 a year is as remote a possibility as my moratorium. Congress will not approve it. Trump wants higher fences and wider gates. Biden wants open borders. Just keeping the status quo on legal immigration will be a tough ask. Mass immigration has already permanently changed this country. We will lose it through the ballot box.

Trump made many bad personnel decisions. As you noted, Trump is an outsider who didn’t know how the sausage was made. He depended on the GOPe who sabotaged his Administration. They wanted him to fail. I’m hopeful he will not make the same mistake the second time around.

We are losing the country day by day. I honestly think Trump wanted us to see that,we have. If the average Joe can’t see welfare and open borders are a part of the problem that needs to be solved we may not wind up with a country that we even recognize.

Two-thirds of the budget is on cruise control. Congress doesn't get involved in the so-called mandatory expenditures. Discretionary expenditures are becoming a smaller and smaller portion of the budget.

A few more points; President Trump's biggest mistake in his 4 years seems to be the idea that he needed to appoint a person to every phony baloney job on the government payroll. Mayor Pete, as an example, has provided ample proof that an empty chair could be just as effective as a Secretary of Transportation.

There are only about 8,000 Presidential-appointed jobs in the entire federal government, a thin veneer to oversee the millions in Deep State. The CIA has 3 Presidential appointed positions.
