The problem here, is the foolish “Count My Vote” deal Utah was suckered into voting into place. The Republican convention will choose a candidate. It won’t be Romney. So Romney and some other person will both go out and get signatures to appear on the ballot with the person the Party chose. 30% will vote for the Party candidate in the primary. 30% will vote for the other signature-gathering candidate. 40% will vote for Romney. So Romney will get in with 60% of the state hating his guts. (The primary election is all that matters in Utah—the winner there is the shoo-in, because the Democrats don’t win such things.)
What about the Flip Atty. General? He’d be better.
Unless "other signature-gathering candidate" is Evan McNothing, who would pull harder from Romney's support. McMuffin ran Mike Lee to just 11%, and nothing prevents McLooney from running GOP vs Romney. He even acquired a spiffy new widow wife, finally (lol), for his run against Lee.
