I really wish there was an adversarial party to the demonrats, you know, somebody on the other side of the issue. If we had one in Control of, say the House, He could stand up proudly and proclaim NOT ANOTHER NICKEL UNTIL THE BORDER WALL IS FINISHED COMPLETELY.

That’s a good idea both practically and tactically. Sadly I don’t see it happening.
Both sides would have to give up something, no more money for Ukraine until the wall is complete (not started or promised to start but complete) then already money appropriated goes to Ukraine. Grand compromise with the Devil for both sides.
