SACRAMENTO COUNTY, Calif. — Each day, Nathaniel Brown tends to his land. He says he fell in love with gardening at a young age.
"When I'm able to see what I've created, it is very rewarding," Brown said. "I was definietly inspired by my grandma to get out and start planting. She really taught me gardening on a bigger scale. She had about a quarter-acre garden."

The Collective is on a mission "to providing long-term, affordable land access for multiple existing BIPOC farmers and ranchers, struggling with land security."
I work ag in California's Monterey and Santa Cruz Counties. To buy ag land will run you about $80 thousand per acre. Drill a well will be half a million minimum. Then you can deal with the California ag regulations. It ain't about race. I would like a unicorn ranch and grow rainbows but that isn't going to happen.
40 acres and a mule. Reparations.
This would be a hilarious SNL skit. Too bad they’d never make it.
This is happening now in South Africa.
South Africa is this country’s future.
racism, racism, racism, racism, global warming, racism, racism, .... that is every day in american news media
A "collective" ... as might be expected, most of the people in the "collective" are useless.
How would blacks ever survive if not for benevolent democrats?
There you go - handed to them by the state.
Think they'd do same for potential White Farmers that would like to start a farm but can't afford land?
Farms are hard work—unless they can get white slaves to do it for them.
“Farms are hard work—unless they can get white slaves to do it for them.”
Working out great all over Africa.
There’s a running not-funny joke.
Q: What’s the difference between South Africa and Zimbabwe?
A: 30 years
So I guess you could ask
Q: What’s the difference between the US and South Africa
A: 30 years
So it logically follows that in 60 years the US will be Zimbabwe.
Not that long at the rate we’re going.......
Brown joined The Ujamaa Farmer Collective. It's a group of leaders, farmers, educators and food system advocates. The Ujamaa Farmer Collective is led by Nelson Hawkins. He's the founder of We Grow Farms, who serves as the Agriculture Project Manager. The Collective is on a mission "to providing long-term, affordable land access for multiple existing BIPOC farmers and ranchers, struggling with land security.""Ujama," naturally. There's a lot to learn from African farmers, because, as we all know, they've done such a bang-up job feeding their own continent.
My advice to the Ujamians...hire McKinsey to run no-whites allowed BIPOC-only, melanin-infused management leadership classes. McKinsey could repurpose their Best Buy curriculum to speed things up and reduce costs.
LOL! Black farmers. Do they grow cotton?
“Whitey needs to give up their lands now mofos!!”
Africa has been going through white purges.
“Land access” sounds like leftspeak for “gibs me dat land fo free”.
ZIMBABWE 2.0 & more
But the Delta River Smelt and three toed salamander!
Nope. The Devil’s Lettuce. Approved by Snoop Dee-Oh-Double-Gee.
“The whole article is leftist / communist crap top to bottom... The Ujamaa Farmer Collective. It’s a group of leaders...”
As for the comparisons of the US and SA, despite perhaps the wishes of the 13%, it’s important to remember that the whites were and are a small minority in SA, that’s not going to happen here. Too many black women avail themselves of abortion for their percentage to grow. Margaret Sanger would be pleased.
