What really sucks is my mom is an honest woman but she truly believes everything she sees from Rachel Maddow, Jake Tapper, and Anderson Cooper as legitimate news. Also, if it isn’t on mainstream propaganda “news,” it isn’t true including Hunter Biden’s laptop, Joe showering with Ashlie, and Tara Reade being a liar after accusing Gropey Joe while that fugly woman who lied about Kavanaugh is an unimpeachable truth teller.

Thankfully, I don’t have anyone in my family that identifies as a leftie. But I do have a “like a sister” long time friend that believes every lie and false prophecy from the televangelist grifters. It’s just as frustrating, IOW.
How do you get through to people like that? You don’t, I’ve finally concluded. You keep trying just to assuage your guilt for not succeeding in convincing them, but ultimately... they make their own choices on the lies they choose to believe. It’s Biblical. All you can do is pray that their scales will drop and their eyes will be opened to the truth.... hopefully ‘before’ they die.
