Back in 2016, when Obama visited Vietnam, and he was pushing normalizing trade relations with Vietnam, I recall reading that one of the first people that started doing business with Vietnam, was John Kerry's brother, Cameron Kerry. I can't recall what kind of business he was conducting, just remember his name being mentioned when trade was normalized with them. He'd previously worked as a general counsel for the Commerce Department during Obama's administration, and I'm sure having a brother who was Secretary of State, opened doors to him.
