Wind-fueled wildfires on the Hawaiian island of Maui that drove people to jump into the ocean to escape flames and smoke forced people to evacuate Wednesday, authorities said.

A few things to ponder...
..., the hawaian islands have historically been protected from the majority of hurricans by a coincidence of geography and trade wind patterns.
Most hurricane are broken up by that and never hit the islands.
This one was different, and the hawaians had been warned there were going to be stronger than usual winds in advance.
They knew they were coming, they knew fire danger would be elevated, they knew arson has been an issue of late, they knew to be extra carefull, they knew to be extra watchful.
This fire storm was no “ accident “ imho.

There may be more to this than local arsonists.
Think 1938 to 1945.
Japan created an island chain of defense in furtherance of the “ Asian co prosperity sphere”
This cut off major trade routes.
Now fast forward to the last decade with China basically copying that war plan with their artificial islands and recent acquisition of presence on Guadal canal , ect.
What was Japan’s next step in that war plan ?
An attack on the hawaian islands.
You do the math.
Enemies, foreign and or domestic imho.
Obama clearing brush that was blocking his view of young men on the beach?
I will pray! I’ve been to Maui a few times and it’s always been beautiful filled with happy, friendly people.
Also, in before the DNCMedia says it is due to Global warming/Climate Change.
Oh it's already started.
Libtard Utopia needs help again
What else is new?!
What do they not screw up?
They start fires by not clearing underbrush as usual
Lahaina is an old fishing town, with lots of very old and historic wooden structure buildings. I imagine a wind blown fire could just about level the place.
I’ve been told by a former resident that this island has a large homeless contingent. If true, these folks don’t have the safest way of cooking and tending fires.
It is the best beach island for a reason, nature has a self clean cycle that kicks in every 40-120 years. It gives a whole bunch of people a way out of an overpriced home/land combo with a big insurance check. Sell it to someone in China as a store of wealth who will never visit.
And let us not forget Imperial Japan in 1945 actually killed six Americans in Oregon using incendiary bombs carried by high altitude balloons.
Drone footage shows devastation in Maui as smoke and fire blanket the island

I didn’t see anything on global warming in the story. Did I miss it?
Brush clearing had nothing to do with this.
Why are posters pushing that idea ?
Brush fire....totally preventable
/\
Arson
Totally un preventable.
This was no ooops brush fire.
There was no lightening.
The only “ camping” campgrounds are on 2 beaches both within a mile of a firestation, both with a road that acts as a fire line,,, it wasn’t campfires that got out of control.
Multiple fire starts at the same time at ‘O dark 30 in the morning.
No one was mowing their lawn or useing a chainsaw in the dark.
Just Google
Hawaii arson.
/\
Wind takes down power line poof fire starts
/
The fire starts didn’t happen under power lines, most of which are underground.
Btw, I live in Calif. The power line excuse for fires here in north Cal were political in nature and pure b.s. imho.
I say that as one who has been on 39 wildfires on hand crews, and as the son of a PG&E and Bonniville Power Administration employee and relative of linemen.

Prayers for the victims.

/*
Yes that is correct, there are lots of homeless on maui.
There are also 1000’s of feral chickens,, ( mmm mmm chicken /-) to cook up.
But therefore started at roughly the same time on widely separated parts of the island early before sunrise
Do you really beleive these homeless chicken cookers just all happened to get up around 4am before sunrise on widely separated places all at the same time , catch a chicken and cook it, and be careless enough to burn up their ONLY home in the’ bush” ?
I don’t.
Not for a second.
Update
.Kihei people can go back into Kihei now.
I know on the big island, people cook ice in “the bush”/jungle.
Or whatever Hawaiian for woods is called…

Again, why pushing these other than arson narratives.
Arson has been a HUGE issue last few years in Hawaii.
Do homeless usually cook around 4am before sunrise on any island ?
No.
Every homeless person I’ve ever known sleep in.
I’m not pushing anything.
Ice is meth, and I’m not certain drug cooking nutjobs maintain normal hours of operation.
And I’ve noticed it’s the “ usual suspects” posting this other than arson narrative on all these Hawaii fires this morning...
Why ?...
Is it cuz of this...
Why are posters pushing that idea ?
