That just tells me how ignorant the New Hampshire voters are. No way should Christie be tied with DeSantis. Desantis should be comfortably ahead in second place. Christie should just be a blip at best in the polls.

We're I running in a Republican contest or primary, and a headline said of me, “DeSantis Drops to Tie With Christie,” I would feel like I'd been kicked in the balls.

The bar is pretty low to vote in a GOP primary in New Hampshire, the state named after a breed of hogs. All you have to do is register as an independent and request a Republican ballot.

You don't even have to live there. Borrow a friend's address and have a bill sent there. It is your "proof" of residency. Yeah, those who live to the west and south of NH actually do this in pretty big numbers.
