When was it filed? Had to have been after Trump’s statement on Friday 8/4 at 3:16PM.
So the judge is giving Trump basically one day to respond to an opponent’s motion? Statutes usually give an opponent around 15 days to respond to an opponent’s motion.
Most likely the judicial order is against the law about time to respond to an opponent’s motion.
Add that to the bucket list of illegalities concerning Smith’s bogus indictments.
I think the quick turnaround was because the government wanted an immediate protective order.
