I wonder when insurance companies are going to start refusing to insure the transport of EV’s. Imagine a train loaded with these things bursting into flames.

I wonder when insurance companies are going to start refusing to insure the transport of EV’s.
The only way I can see to safely transport EVs in bulk like this is in some kind of hermetically sealed container vessel, where the oxygen levels can be reduced enough to inhibit combustion.
Back in my submarine days, we could tell oxygen was getting low in the atmosphere when a lit cigarette would not stay lit long. It doesn't have to be reduced completely, just a couple of percentage points to get this effect.
