IIRC, she donated part of her liver to one of her children who had an otherwise fatal liver disease. I don't know whether that child still lives and whether it would have significant medical needs which putting her in jail might compromise. She's one of the few good ones. I hope this can be appealed. From what I've previously read on this I don't understand what it is about this case which warrants trumping her 1st amendment rights. Perhaps we have two similarly foundational rights clashing here and and by comparison her rights rank like "calling fire in a crowded theater." If so the reasoning could be better explained.
