In spite of some poorly written news reports (she deserves better) son Peter’s problem never was cancer, but rather biliary atresia. Part of his liver never had developed properly which would have soon killed him without the transplant. Glad to know he’s made it this far and seems doing well. But I presume he has challenges from chronic immunosuppressive therapy and perhaps some other issues. May he and his family do well.
