inappropriate language for a lawmaker to describe an indictment

And yet, this from last week which was also on The Hill:

One of Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’s (R) most prominent donors told reporters Friday that he would cut off funds to his 2024 campaign if he didn’t adopt a more “moderate approach.”

Robert Bigelow, the founder of Budget Suites of America and Bigelow Aerospace, told Reuters in an interview that he explained to DeSantis’s campaign that the governor needs to shift his agenda to target moderates or he risks losing his support.

“He’ll lose if he doesn’t,” he said, referring to DeSantis’s chances against former President Trump. “Extremism isn’t going to get you elected.”

This quote is not about DeSantis, he just happens to be the target of the comment. It's squarely about the GOPe and their lose first mentality. For them, somehow the witch Pelosi's comments and the like have no negative effect on so-called moderates, but anything slightly off-center that a Republican says or does is a catastrophe.

Pelosi is vile and disgusting, but you know there isn't a RAT donor anywhere who's wringing his hands over what she said. But whether it's Trump or DeSantis or Vivek, you know the attitude from the GOPe, which includes putzes like Bigelow, McConnell and his Senate cronies, and, of course, lard butt maximus Ronna McDaniel over at the RNC, is they are upsetting the moderates. Maddening.
