That’s where you’re wrong. I’m not for illegal immigration. Just because I don’t share your obsession with race doesn’t mean I don’t believe in borders and following the law. Throughout my life, leftists have always been the ones who are tribal and obsessed with race.
IIT grads are commonly in the US assumed to be brilliant, so noting someone being a product of affirmative-action admittance to the school is not necessarily an illegitimate caution as to applying that assumption in this particular case.
But there is much wrong with this story altogether. The majority of Indians report experiencing caste discrimination, but the vast majority of Americans see and make no differentiation among castes when interacting with Indians. Indians also significantly out-earn Americans and are better educated than Americans, on average. They are significantly overrepresented by number as Big Tech and high tech CEOs, etc.
Yet, as this story also shows by the belief in rampant white supremacism and discrimination that they tend to have imported with them the political idiocy of their native country.
