None of the area annexed will ever be part of Ukraine again if Ukraine even exists at all at the end of this.

LOL, remind me who retreated from the annexed regional capital Kherson?

On 9 November, Russian general Sergey Surovikin announced the withdrawal of troops from Kherson and the west bank of the Dnieper. He claimed that the reasoning for this decision was that Kherson and nearby settlements were not able to be properly supplied and that civilians were in danger from Ukrainian shelling.

So, Ukraine "won" one battle, lost 40,000 square miles of territory and 350,000 troops and you think that is significant?

You're nuts. The Russian objective, apart from liberating Donesk and Lugansk and building a land bridge from Crimea to mainland Russia, is to destroy the Ukraine military. You're blind or stupid to grasp that. And, that's what they are doing.
