Quasi-religious fervor and rabid, unquestioning belief in a cause, thing or entity, either real or imagined, does that to some folks.
Like leftists wedded to their fantastical, crazy, murderous ideology, even at the cost of relationships with family and friends, the more extreme Youkazoids are completely emotionally invested in Youcrayne "winning," whatever that means at this point.
