Michigan is a recreation state with many people driving north in the summer with their boats and trailers and towing snow mobiles in the winter.

That extra weight has to really take a toll on the EV's battery charge per trip.

In the winter cold, EV mileage is drastically reduced and when you're pulling your snowmobiles, even more.

With a typical 250 mile, one way trip, I can't imagine how many stops will be required to charge your EV.

Anybody that does some serious towing isn’t going to buy an EV truck or SUV. The range is nearly cut in half under good weather conditions. A buddy of mine likes to go fishing at a lake about 75 miles from his home. There is no way he can make a round trip. There aren’t any charging stations between his home and the lake in central Illinois. Imagine trying to run a business that requires towing trailers any lengthy distance..
