According to the Constitution, a president’s most important appointments have to be approved by Congress.
A poster reminded us all yesterday that McConnell would not recess the Senate because he did not want Trump appointing who Trump wanted. Aaccording to the Constitution, a president can do that without Congressional approval if Congress is in recess.
