I never knew commerical ships were completely unarmed until all of this terrorism at sea started a few years ago. I spent 4 years at sea in the USN and it never occurred to me all of those freighters and tankers were complelely unarmed. Madness.

Iran is improving their capabilities. They’re getting a lot of experience with their drones in Ukraine.

Add a nuke component to that and they will be prepared to take out coastal U.S. cities (Boston, Newport, NYC, Norfolk, Charleston, Savannah, etc.) from innocent looking cargo vessels dashing in from the shipping lanes in the middle of the night.

Hypothetical scenario. Iran builds 1,000 drones. They're armed with missiles. They'll launch an attack on the flagship of the U.S. fleet in the Gulf, which would be one of our aircraft carriers.
