I’m inclined to agree that it’s too late, that neither Trump nor any other human can save the utter mess that is now the US. God is the only one who can save us. And if the descriptions at the end of the Bible are true, He’s not going to.
God will give us strength... Sure. But JHVH isn’t going to FIGHT the battle for us.
Joshua still needed to go to Jericho with an army before the walls could be brought low.
Moses still needed to part the Red Sea as he was commanded.
Goliath wasn’t slain by a rock that God threw... It was David’s action that was needed.
And on and on and on...
