You just kind of need to be out among the population to get the real pulse, that’s all. I am a Floridian, been here since the mid 80’s . Not hiding anything about myself.

“You just kind of need to be out among the population to get the real pulse . . .”

Let's look at a data point. In 2021 for the first time ever, Republican voter registration exceeded Democrat registrations.

And the trend has accelerated. This year Republican registrations exceed Democrat by over 500,000. That means Florida has gone from a swing state to solid Republican: super majorities in both legislative houses, governorship, Supreme court, cabinet officers (elected in Florida); two GOP U.S. Senators; 20 of 28 U.S. House seats.

This is nothing like California. One state has a Democrat governor, the other a GOP governor. Do you know which one is Republican?

Is there inflation in Florida? Yes.

A Florida man bought a 3M large area paint stripper this week for $10.00 at a hardware store. Two days later he paid over $12.00 for the same item. That's a 20 percent increase; not 7 percent as touted in Washington DC.

But inflation is a national problem; something to do with printing $32 trillion in counterfeit bills.

Housing costs are generally up in Florida; significantly. But even that depends on location, location, location. Housing in Dade County, population 2.6 million, tends to cost more than housing in Liberty County, population 7,600.

Supply and demand.
