WLOS — Average gasoline prices in Asheville have risen 19.5 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.46 per gallon Monday, according to GasBuddy's survey of 259 stations in Asheville. Prices in Asheville are 28.8 cents per gallon higher than a month ago and stand 67.2 cents per gallon lower than a year ago. The national average price of diesel has jumped 15.5 cents in the last week and stands at $3.99 per gallon.
According to GasBuddy price reports, the cheapest station in Asheville was priced at $3.25 per gallon Sunday while the most expensive was $3.99 per gallon, a difference of 74.0 cents per gallon. The lowest price in the state Sunday was $3.08 per gallon while the highest was $4.19 per gallon, a difference of $1.11 per gallon.
The national average price of gasoline has risen 16.5 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.72 per gallon Monday. The national average is up 21.4 cents per gallon from a month ago and stands 45.6 cents per gallon lower than a year ago, according to GasBuddy data compiled from more than 11 million weekly price reports covering over 150,000 gas stations across the country...

Prices in suburban Baltimore have jumped unbelievably in the last week. I am now seeing signs for $3.75 and up for regular. Curse the Chinese puppet and his entire illegitimate regime.
It’s summer. People take vacations. Gas prices rise every summer.
In normal times, gas prices start going up in early June because of the vacation driving season. This price bump is coming in late July. What I watch is diesel prices because that affects everything including food and gasoline.
