Why, that's not supposed to happen! We've fixed it so that ONLY Democrats are elected!!
She may make the run off but I doubt that Nashville will elect a Republican anything.
Rank Choice voting (which insures a Demon win) was put in TN just for that purpose.
We haven’t elected a Republican Mayor since Grover Cleveland was in his first term (1880s).
Although, thankfully, we’ve got a GOP Congressman due to expert redrawing of the lines. Well, actually, three. I’ve got Ogles.
Probably not considering the big guns in the party aren’t supporting her. That’s why we lose. The democrats support each other, we don’t.
We don’t have rank choice voting. “Technically” the race for Mayor and Council is “non-partisan”, though that’s a joke, since the GOP is very weak to non-existent in Nashville. The Mayor’s race is obviously top-heavy with Demonrat loons, so the GOP can consolidate behind a single candidate. However, barring some miracle, they’re likely to lose in the top-two runoff.
