In the wake of the latest drone attack on Moscow, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that it is “absolutely fair” for his forces to attack targets within the Russian mainland.
During a visit to the western Ukrainian city of Ivano-Frankivsk on Sunday, President Zelensky tacitly confirmed that Ukraine was behind the most recent drone strikes on Moscow this weekend, one of which was shot down and two of which crashed into an office building causing some damage.
Although no injuries were reported, it appears that Zelensky is intent on bringing the war closer to home for those in the Russian capital.

Why do I hear a lisp in my mind when I read that comment? The Ukraine isn’t getting back any territory, it is a dead man walking, a corpse-puppet with the WEF fist shoved up its backside.
Why do I hear a lisp in my mind when I read that comment?
Because you’re a pervert?
Because you say so! If Russia does use nuclear weapons in the territory of the Ukraine there is diddly-squat NATO will do anything kinetic about it. Just more sanctions that hurt us more and bloviating.
I think the most important consideration from Ukraine's perspective should be whatever ends the conflict the soonest, with their objectives intact.
My belief is that Ukraine can probably not hold their country together without considerable external suppport. And that support is likely to lead to an escalation. In that case, there's really no telling when it ends, or how.
Based on the last year and a half, no clear winner has emerged. An escalation might win it, but it might also draw a response that ratchets up the war even more. I know people don't like trading land for peace, but the costs of war are devestating.
“Because you’re a pervert?” He/she/it shrieked with such force that he/she/it became untucked and flashed his/her/its seven pet cats.
You write, "Wrong again money whore douchebag"
With respect, I disagree. I think the proverbial gloves should come off on both sides in this STILL OFFICIALLY non-NATO war between two non-NATO nations. All targets in Russia and ALL targets in Ukraine should be open to attack, as, in Z's 'fine' words, "absolutely fair."
If "restraint" were set aside, I imagine the resulting pain to either side would fully clarify. And of course, the Western world would....
...do nothing until the dust settled. Nothing except hold conferences, publish articles, write strongly worded declaration and waste massive sums of money and materiel.
Because that's what has already been done. Best regards.
For once I agree with Zelensky. Attacking Russia proper is perfectly in accord with the Laws and Usages of war.
Be careful what you wish for, amigo.
You know this isn’t going to happen, so why keep repeating total nonsense over and over?
Losers aren’t going to be the winners.
In honor of Ukraine’s wartime heritage, Zelensky will rename drones used on Russian territory V-1s and V-2s.
The office towers that were hit were Russian government ministries, so Ukraine hasn’t targeted civilians in the way that Russia does.
Still happy to see the Muscovites shaken out of their dream world where they can pretend that the war doesn’t exist.
If they keep hitting Moscow then I don’t see it rising anger among regular Russians. They tend to hate Muscovites.
Ok, but not with our toys and serial numbers. Buy your own with your own money and use them. The world survived after Hiroshima, Nagasaki…and Chernobyl. Good luck.
“While I agree that Ukraine is sighing it’s rights to attack Russia the pinpricks the Ukrainians have lobbed as Russia so far have no impact”
They sure do have an impact, besides killing and injuring Russian civilians hundreds of miles from the war zone.
They also SEND A MESSAGE to Russia that their hardliners were right, in that the West has aims that go FAR BEYOND restoring Ukraine’s 1991 borders, and thus it’s next to impossible to see how this war doesn’t end with the complete liberation of Ukraine.
Think of Vietnam - as far as I remember there was no terrorism in the US done by Vietnamese nationals*...and due to that, leaving Vietnam was far easier than it would have been if they had been blowing up civilian buildings on US soil.
*of course there was Leftist terrorism, but then there always is
Escalation begets more escalation. And Russia has the bigger club. Maybe this is Zelensky’s strategy. Increase the intensity of the conflict in the hope it will lead to direct NATO involvement, which is Ukraine’s Hail Mary pass.
I see the neocons out in full force salivating over the prospect of an all out nuclear war. It’s easy to armchair a conflict and play plastic soldier with other people’s live from afar. While we continue our proxy war folks on these boards cheer with glee as our own nation suffers. But hey, as long as Russia suffers a hiccup right? That’s all that matters
Ohhhh, Zelensky sends a message! If we get into World War III with Russia, I hope the military tracks down bloviating armchair warriors like you and puts a gun in their hand and sends you over to fight first.
Just like a Russian. Screams bloody murder when attacked by Ukraine, but thinks it o.k. to attack whomever it pleases.
Maybe you should have your morning vodka before trying to engage somebody in a conversation.
“Maybe this is Zelensky’s strategy. Increase the intensity of the conflict in the hope it will lead to direct NATO involvement”
It’s his ONLY path to victory, and what does it matter to Ukraine if Russia and the US start lobbing nukes at each other, as conditions cannot get much worse from a Ukrainian standpoint.
“I hope the military tracks down bloviating armchair warriors like you”
I’m not the Neocon Cheerleaders here would agree with that description of me.
Where are you going to find the missing 175 million Ukrainians to wind this war? After all, there are only about 36 million Ukrainians in the whole country?
Redmen4ever needs to go to the Ukraine and volunteer to fight.
More attempts to incite Russia’s use of nuclear weapons. Yay!?
