austin has been that way since late 70’s.

Before that it was a nice place that doubled in size while UT was in session. I left that $}{!T}{O£€ in the early 90’s and don’t miss it at all and haven’t been back since then.

I currently reside in Austin. I love it for the music, the food, being ostensibly in Texas. I dislike it for the outrageous property taxes and the idiot local politicians.

I’m thinking about moving to Boston to minimize the sunny days as I like being outside but unfortunately keep getting basal cell and melanoma.
