It was legally defined under British common law many years before the Constitution was written. The writers of the Constitution used accepted legal definitions in use at the time, and they are still used the same way today.

No argument from me Dawg but there are plenty of freepers that won't accept anything unless the Supremes say it. Natural born citizen is as clear to me as it can be, it takes lawyers to call it into question, same thing applies to anchor baby citizenship no law exists that grants that citizenship, just accepted as fact by most.

We have given away the greatest country ever to exist, but at my age it really doesn't matter much to me anymore.
