Here’s a thought: This heat wave occurs in a summer in which I’ve just learned hundreds of thousands of air flights were cancelled. (17K canceled on just 2 dates in the US !)
How many millions of tons of emissions were eliminated from our skies allowing more solar penetration—thus less reflective protection—and more radiant heat to reach the surface. One wonders.

Comer says there were 170 suspicious activity reports on Hunter all flagged by banks. Comer says: Hunter should be toast. But hard to say what will happen. Comer: never been a case where family is engaged in so many incidents of suspicious activity. I guess 170 is a lot! Average family gets zero accd. to Comer.just too good!!
Some banks only issue one or two suspicious activity reports in banking reports a year!! Usually its foreigners or criminals doing the suspicious activity.
That reminds me of a funny story. This was back in the 1984/5. It was a Sunday morning and I was in my bachelor’s quarters on Bolling AFB in Washington DC watching the Sunday shows when I got a call from the telephone operator (remember those?)...
She asked if I would accept a call from Oklahoma for **MY NAME**, in Washington DC? So, not knowing anyone from Oklahoma, I was puzzled but accepted the call. It turned out to be a drunken black man with a very thick accent who was trying to actually call David Brinkley in Washington DC to complain about something he said on the show! It was hard to understand him, and my number was in the directory so the operator probably thought he was saying my name, which I guess could be confused with Brinkley.
Anyway, this guy was a POS ghetto gibmedat and he was upset Brinkley was in favor of Reagan and his military buildup, the Space Defense Initiative, etc., and wanted the money to go to poor folk (like him). I tried and tried to tell this guy I was NOT David Brinkley but he refused to accept that. So eventually, I started to defend Reagan and his defense budget, and since I was a young Staff Sergeant in the military at the time (at the Defense Intelligence Agency) I knew a hell of a lot about it! I really put this guy in his place so he stopped his sputtering and just listened. If he’s still alive I hope he still thinks David Brinkley was scolding him!
So you see, I was doing my conservative Sunday Show comments long before the Internet and JimRob’s marvel, Free Republic!
Thomas Lifson at AT reports this morning via NASA and the Euro Space Agency that a previously ignored underwater volcano dispersed massive amounts of water vapor into the atmosphere, boosting water vapor by a gobsmacking 10% to 30%.
They conclude this explains a lot. Water vapor holds heat and doesn’t quickly dissipate as do particles spewed from surface volcanoes. Look for several years of increased vapor and heat.
One in the same : “I fought in VietNam, you know”, and “voted for it before I voted against it”, and the one who has a much more important job in saving the earth than to fly commercial jets.

It seems that huge volcanic explosion in Tonga in the South Pacific put so much water vapor in the stratosphere that it is acting as a huge greenhouse effector on our planet, far, far, more than measly C02. H20 vapor is 50 times more effective at trapping heat than C02.
I love how the Left insults the Right by saying Deplorables don't know or "believe" in science and knee jerk "deny" man-made global warming, when in fact the whole scientific community is not in any way a settled place and is always updating and changing as we learn more and gather more real data. The Earth changes every day due to events we have absolutely no control over! The idea that we sit at the apex and control the atmosphere, temperature, etc, like some Greek Gods, is so laughable. We are, in fact, part of nature and the rules of nature as set by God Almighty have been working and doing since the beginning of time! Real scientists (not political "scientists", which are not) know this. They may not believe the God part, but as Einstein once said:
