So, all the doctors claiming they do what is best for their patients and the hospital administrators have no say are full of poop? Yep.

Off topic, but related.

I got a call last week from ExpressScripts asking why I had not reordered Crestor. They proceeded to put a pharmacist on the line who began scolding me...”Does your doctor know you are not taking your meds?”.

Orwellian to say the least.

In case you thought the media (fort worth star telegram whatever) was better than toilet paper - 60 studies show significant benefits of ivermectin for Covid-19.

“— a drug that prominent people, including former President Donald Trump, have incorrectly claimed as a COVID cure”
Donald Trump and 54 teams of researchers in 20 counties.

The article say “drugs with no proven benefit”. The evidence is that ivermectin is more effective than any other Covid treatment including Regeneron.

Off-label prescriptions are legal and fairly common.

My wife suffered from long-COVID symptoms for over a year. Then her first dose of Ivermectin cleared it up completely.

If you have to LIE to make your point, you don't have a point worth making.

They're going for sensationalism here. Journalism is dead. It's all about how many clicks you can get and the truth only gets in the way sometimes.

I have a lot of experience treating hospitalized patients, and also with the inner workings of medical licensing boards.

No one can get away with a) Practicing in a hospital without staff privileges or b) Prescribing for a patient - inpatient or outpatient - without a proper evaluation.

That having been said, discipline won’t happen, can’t happen, without a complaint. And it’s probable that the complaint IN THIS CASE was initiated not because of the privileges or evaluation issue, but because of the ivermectin issue.

There’s such a thing in medical discipline cases as a “necessity defense” - but even if ivermectin does everything ivermectin promoters claim, that’s going to be hard to sell in this forum.

That claim is straight from CNN and MSNBC. It isn’t the primary use. Billions of people have taken it. Why would you make that statement?

The Weekend Australian - July 29-30, 2023

Covid cover-up: how the science was silenced

Sharri Markson
Sky News Report

EXCERPT:

America's top infectious diseases advisor, Anthony Fauci, deliberately decided to downplay suspicions from scientists that Covid-19 came from a laboratory to protect his reputation and deflect from the risky coronavirus research his agency had funded, according to his boss, one of the most senior U.S. health officials during the pandemic.

In an exclusive interview, Robert Kadlec - former assistant secretary for preparedness and response at the U.S. Department of Health - told The Weekend Australian that he, Dr. Fauci, and National Institutes of Health director Francis Collins privately discussed how to "turn down the temperature" on accusations against China in the early days of the pandemic while they were trying to encourage Beijing to cooperate . . .

From The Northwest Connection:

Opinion: Fauci Knew About HCQ In 2005 – Nobody Needed To Die
Written by Bryan Fischer
Posted on April 28, 2020

The Virology Journal – the official publication of Dr. Fauci’s National Institutes of Health – published what is now a blockbuster article on August 22, 2005, under the heading – get ready for this – “Chloroquine is a potent inhibitor of SARS coronavirus infection and spread.” (Emphasis mine throughout.) Write the researchers, “We report…that chloroquine has strong antiviral effects on SARS-CoV infection of primate cells. These inhibitory effects are observed when the cells are treated with the drug either before or after exposure to the virus, suggesting both prophylactic and therapeutic advantage.”

This means, of course, that Dr. Fauci has known for 15 years that chloroquine and its even milder derivative hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) will not only treat a current case of coronavirus (“therapeutic”) but prevent future cases (“prophylactic”). So HCQ functions as both a cure and a vaccine. In other words, it’s a wonder drug for coronavirus. Said Dr. Fauci’s NIH in 2005, “concentrations of 10 μM completely abolished SARS-CoV infection.” Fauci’s researchers add, “chloroquine can effectively reduce the establishment of infection and spread of SARS-CoV.”

Whether this is about the efficacy of ivermectin or about a licensing legal matter, one thing is clearly evident: The bureaucrats in government (i.e., “busybodies”) simply cannot leave people alone. This is all about controlling, at every opportunity, what “other people” believe, what “other people” think and how “other people” act. They are unable to control themselves, yet they truly believe they can, should and must control “other people”. That’s just the way it is and has been throughout history. Cheers!

All it takes to become a patient…is a consultation. Many many patients found their doctors through a telemed consultation, or an online interaction.

The real issue here is ivermectin, and the absolute panic by hospitals that its use would replace and discredit their profitable but murderous Fauci protocol,of remdesivir and a vent.

When I had the flu last November, my fever broke shortly after I dosed Ivermectin.

Welcome to Free Republic.

It's a deliberately deceptive headline. They went out of their way to make it sound like her prescribing Ivermectin was the problem, when the problem actually was writing prescriptions in a facility where she didn't have privileges.

Which is why I posted this article.

Dr Bowden has had her story mentioned on FR many times, so I was familiar with the basics.

This article writes like a pure (blood) propaganda stream, trying to influence public opinion against the doctor, and in favor of the establishment.

Often the establishment is correct but, especially nowadays, the establishment is running a full court press trying to get its way.

IIRC the patients family had an internal war, some wanting FDA approved treatment and some wanting no part of it. Once in the hospital, they felt that the patient was "safe" from Dr Bowden. Instead he succumbed to intubation and a lack of treatment.

I found it very interesting that this case should continue against Dr Bowden, while the revelations coming from Sen Rand expose the entire CDC/FDA cabal as tools of Big Pharma and willing accomplices of the CCP bio-warfare units.

Very unsettling.

Hit it on the head. If you don’t have privileges at a hospital and prescribe it’s a problem. Big one.

…

If you have a Doctor's license in a given state, you should be able to treat anyone.

Too many useless rules.

Some rules are in place for good reasons.

First, she had never met, examined or spoken directly with the patient in person, nor did she have access to his medical records yet prescribed him a medication while he was hospitalized at a hospital where she had no privileges.

Why is having privileges important when treating and prescribing medications to hospitalized patients?

When in the hospital, all medications, even sometimes foods and liquids are entered into the patient’s chart. This is important to avoid any dangerous drug interactions and also to look for early warning signs of allergic reactions.

This is also why a good doctor and hospital will also want to know what OTC medications you are taking as well as any supplements and vitamins even if typically deemed “safe”.

Ivermectin is used to de-worme horses.

You could have mentioned that Dr. Fauci declared it had preventative and well as active effect against SARS-2-Covid several years back. Come to think of it, it may be the reason he went forward with gain-of-function research, believing he could control it with IVM.

Trust that your point will be lodged certainly by various medical boards across the nation against the few physicians who saved lives to remain loyal to their Hypocratic Oath.

A DEATH CULT is issuing the judgements to be made.
