This doesn't exude confidence. Maybe Trump himself is smart enough to know how fragile poll numbers actually are.
I mean, Ben Carson was leading in the polls much later than this, in November 2015, and ended up doing nothing of note.

From the November 2015 article you linked to:
Carson's 29 percent is followed by Donald Trump at 23 percent, Marco Rubio at 11 percent, Ted Cruz at 10 percent and Jeb Bush at 8 percent.
That doesn't even remotely compare to the situation today. Trump is sitting around 64% with his nearest competitor barely out of single digits.

LOL, what is absolute joke Trump has become. So he thinks the only way that he can win is to have everyone else dropped out so there’s no competition? The ballot harvesting he is talking about is after the primaries not now. Who ever wins the nomination will have to deal with the ballot harvesting. Maybe Trump is just trolling, or he is very concerned that he will lose the primaries.
