The nation's top health official implored states to do more to keep lower-income residents enrolled in Medicaid, as the Biden administration released figures Friday confirming that many who had health coverage during the coronavirus pandemic are now losing it.
Though a decline in Medicaid coverage was expected, health officials are raising concerns about the large numbers of people being dropped from the rolls for failing to return forms or follow procedures.
In 18 states that began a post-pandemic review of their Medicaid rolls in April, health coverage was continued for about 1 million recipients and terminated for 715,000. Of those dropped, 4 in 5 were for procedural reasons, according to newly released data from the federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.

So they’re afraid their voters are going to get mad at them for following the rules? Lol.
Having an application window only once each year that closes without exception is the biggest part of this problem. The next biggest problem is the lazy and incompetent people in those offices. They made a mistake on my wife’s submission, then shut her down when the kill date arrived.
That’s not a bug, that’s a feature.
All intended to make people demand single-payer.
They will just go to the emergency room anyway. We pay one way of the other.

Bidenomics didn’t have thing to do with it? Perhaps those who dropped foo found jobs and do not need it anymore. Biden says the economy is great.

One can apply any time if you qualify for the special enrollment program based on a lifestyle change.
That’s what happ is when insurance companies “administer” these programs. That should be a problem, but like all other programs it’s designed to keep you unhealthy.
